Bio

 

Richard Robertson grew up in Des Moines, IA. He received a Bachelor’s Degree from Simpson College in Indianola, IA in 1978.  After receiving his Bachelor’s Degree, he moved to New York City and attended the Manhattan School of Music where he studied organ performance in the Artist’s Diploma program.  In 1981 he transferred to Westminster Choir College in Princeton, NJ, majoring in organ and choral conducting and received his Master’s Degree in 1984.

In 1985 he was a competitor in the National Young Artists Competition of the American Guild of Organists.

Two years later Richard was appointed Organist of the largest Presbyterian church in the U.S.; the Peachtree Presbyterian Church in Atlanta, Georgia.  While at Peachtree he regularly played the organ for their nationally televised services.

In 1995 he moved to Denver and has served Holy Ghost Catholic Church and Saint John’s Episcopal Cathedral as organist and choir director.

Richard has a passion for promoting the arts and the great heritage of Western Civilization. News and current events are also of great importance because a well informed populace is key to preserving our great Democracy.

He recently graduated from the Colorado Media School and is pursuing a career in radio.
